James Upchurch named Forward McDuffie President

Forward McDuffie has announced the appointment of James Upchurch as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Upchurch brings a wealth of local government knowledge and community development experience to this role, positioning Forward McDuffie for responsible growth and success in economic development initiatives.

Forward McDuffie serves as the economic development umbrella organization for McDuffie County, encompassing the Industrial Development Authority, Downtown Development Authority, Chamber of Commerce, and Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the core of its mission is the commitment to unite commerce, welcome visitors, and foster responsible growth within the community.
